Practical information before your tour

Thank you for your booking! We look forward to welcoming you to a true Trondheim experience with Trondheim by Boat or Trondheim by Foot.
Please meet us at Munkegata 66 – Ravnkloa, no later than 10 minutes before departure, so we can start the adventure calmly and safely.

Weather and wind
In true Viking spirit, we don’t let a little weather stop us! Our tours usually go ahead in sunshine, rain, or snow – as long as conditions are safe. We take safety very seriously and will never expose our guests or crew/guides to danger. If the weather turns too harsh, we’ll contact you directly with updates or alternative solutions.

How to dress – like a true northerner!
Layering is the key to staying comfortable:

Closest to your skin: Avoid cotton – go for wool or technical underwear that keeps you warm and dry.
Middle layer: Fleece or wool for insulation.
Outer layer: Windproof and waterproof jacket/pants.
Feet and hands: Good shoes, wool socks, and gloves/mittens.
Head: A hat or buff – most heat escapes here!

In short:
Dress for adventure, and a bit for Instagram 😄
As long as you bring your Viking spirit and the right clothes, we promise a memorable experience – in any weather!
